The 20energy project

20energy was born in order to complete the development of an unique technology in the alternative energy sources market and to turn it into a stable and marketable product nationally and worldwide.

Opportunities

Traffic issues, such as road safety and pollution, are increasingly topical issues affecting not only huge cities and highways, but also small towns and roads, worldwide. LYBRA, is a single solution to many traffic related issues starting from road safety, pollution and traffic. Our message to the market is “ turning traffic from a problem into an opportunity and resource”.

LYBRA is able to provide a solution to road safety and to generate electricity from kinetic energy dissipated by car brakes during a mandatory slowdown (in vehicles deceleration zones) ( before entering a roundabout, before a pedestrian crossing, before an intersection, or into a toll booth lane, ecc.). LYBRA can also significantly mitigate the releasing of CO2 in the air thanks to the lower use of breaks: when a vehicle passes on LYBRA the friction between the wheels and the system coverage will automatically slow it down without using the breaking system of the car.

Research&Development

In order to realize the project, 20energy will keep on (continue to) developing the LYBRA patent and will realize new patents in order to safeguard it’s know-how related to a highly innovative system and, at the moment, without competitors.

Our BU of Research&Development has been expanded and supplemented (integrated) by a highly qualified Scientific Committee.

LYBRA is a smart speed limiter.

Our device will be inserted within the asphalt in vehicle deceleration zones (areas where vehicles must slow down) for street safety reasons. The device will also help car drivers to respect speed limits, recovering the kinetic energy wasted by vehicles while slowing down.
